That picture is from the home match against Leeds in 95/96. A season in which Anderton only made a handful of appearances. That match in September was his first appearance of the season and he was injured again two matches later against QPR and didn't play again until the end of April. The high point for Anderton that season was actually in the away match against Leeds in the penultimate match of the season:

Just me then, Anderton never really 'rocked my boat' , always felt he was injured for the best part of his tenure. I was gobsmacked to learn that at one stage he held the record of appearances in the PL.Anderton , when fit, was an exceptional player.
