I did know and not once said any different.

Is this the first time that a team had lost a game to a team after beating them before? Has it ever happened in a Cup match or CL match, maybe even a WC match where a team that had previously won now lost?

The point is we never were the best team and even if we were best teams lose all the time. Winning trophies is hard. That's why so few teams have won them. Its why the vast majority of his career the great Jose Mourinho has lost the Cup competitions he has gone into. Its why this great Liverpool team has zero domestic trophies and only one CL trophy and one PL title. Other teams are good too.
You claimed we didn’t have the players to win stuff.
We’d beaten Utd and Chelsea a combined five times. That’s makes you wrong.

Neither did anyone else so in his whole career no one gave him a chance?
15 goals in 33 games for Swansea is a very good return
And my argument about poch is he is a complete fraud who will never win a trophy in his life

Well there you go.

If you say so he might as well quit now. It certainly never has been the case that someone who has never won a trophy by the age of 48 could ever win one in the future.

I mean look at all those monster teams he has had that were racking up trophies before and after he left.

15 goals in 33 games for a meh Swansea team is not impressive at all. There is a reason the best offer he had was as a back-up at Spurs and why when he left it was to be a 3rd or 4th stringer for Napoli.

Ok

The idea that getting Jose in here to win trophies has always been so overrated.

We competed for all those same trophies under Poch as well. Jose isn't any better situated to have us win trophies than we were under Poch if the club still maintains the same transfer philosophy and sub par talent levels.

Mourinho can have won 4,000 trophies in his past and it will mean nothing if we are running out Sissoko, Winks, Dier, Aurier etc.

The idea that Jose has some magic formula to win us trophies with sub-par talent is a fairy tale. Just like everyone else out there is he does not have the players he will not win squat.
Totally agree. As this season cup loses show under jose. There is only so much a manager can do. You need the right players to win stuff.

No it doesn't all that proves is that teams can win some games and then lose others against teams.

The roster at no point was considered the best in England. It is disappointing that we didn't win more but not solely on the manager.

Disappointing? It was absolutely criminal to win FUCK ALL in 5 years with those teams.

That seems a little harsh.

Especially if people are dumb enough to put it all on Poch. The reality is that we only got as good as we supposedly were because of him.

Switch him out with most other managers and the disappointment isn't there because we are not close to as good to have those expectations of winning.

It really seems that the worst thing Poch did was create the opportunity for this club to expect to win those things. Now people crap on him because he was such a good manager that he got those teams to overachieve to where people expect to much from him as a manager.

Yeah, how dare people expect to win a single trophy with players like Lloris, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, the best full-backs in the country at one point (Walker + Rose), Dembele, Eriksen, Dele Alli, Son and Kane etc.?

11 months and no PL away win really raised expectations

The problem isn’t expecting it it is blaming the manager 100% for the losses.

First and only time a PL team ever lost to a lower level team in a Cup competition.

Thank god we now have José who is perfect in Cup competitions against weaker teams than us.
If you expected silverware in two thirds of a season, while claiming that the lack of silverware over the last 5 years was due to the chairman and players then you’re a fucking idiot
