The only tihng wrong with him is hes not HG. With us buying Ivan he takes up a foreign players spot, so wit h three LWB the spot must go to the HG player ie Sess, dont think there is much between Reggie and Sess apart from Sess having the HG on his side.

The difference between Ossie's and Conte's pre season
Jurgen Klinsmann on his first pre-season at Tottenham:
“We played a friendly in Dublin. Afterwards, Ossie Ardiles came in the dressing room and handed us £30 each. He just said: ‘have a good time’. So we all went to the pub. It was wonderful.”
Kulusevski on his first pre-season at Tottenham:
“We played a friendly in Seoul. Afterwards, Conte came in the dressing room and handed us 2 sticks of celery each. He just said: ‘go back out to the pitch and run the length of it 50 times’. So we all ran. It was miserable.”

So today Spence and Lenglet joined first team training - now all 6 incoming players this summer have been involved in first team training and still just under 3 weeks before first game of season and almost 6 weeks before end of transfer window.
Bissouma and Forster flying back from South Korea today so probably re-joining first team training by about Thursday.
Probably about as good pre-season as Conte would realistically have wished for with his 6 key incoming players getting to know the squad (and vice versa) and his tactics before season gets underway !
