He got no League titles disqualified at Milan? Juve got 1, and the other was nulled and voided. Unless you mean the one that Juve got removed should've gone to Milan instead.

My thoughts exactly. Give them all the credit in the world for how they hang on in games and how they defend as a team. But they are a really hard watch. Despite this result, nobody could ever convince me they are the better team out of the two.

I just thought it was pretty poor from a side that has players like Bellingham, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, to be that defensive and offer so little going forward.

But as I said, they got through via the lottery of penalties and won't really care.

City make it very difficult to do. They retain the ball better than any other side by some distance. Sometimes against them you just have to accept that dig in and try to play on the counter. The forwards didn't do their job tonight but the defenders did and Sometimes it's your defence that can win you a game instead of your attack.

I love it when English teams get knocked out in Europe, mainly because of all the hyperbole crap from pundits about how an English team is guaranteed to win the comp. None of the mainstream pundits watch any European football, their knowledge is so simple.

People were dismissing CL pedigree factor when these fixtures came out. Said Bayern would get through regardless of league form.

Playing for certain clubs just instils that extra % of belief in these competitions. City were better all game but as long as they were in it, those Madrid players believed. And Bayern went out there both legs and looked favourites.

Not that I disagree but it puts our match with them in the CL at their place 5 years ago into perspective, they had a better team then as well IMO.

If we are not involved I quite like having someone to hate and want to fail spectacularly. I will happily bank it as can’t run the risk of one of them nicking a trophy . But I pretty much will have zero interest going forward with no team to loathe .

I am happy to admit if Spurs are not playing I love the schadenfreude of seeing our rivals implode

We should all be supporting Villa even tho we can't stand them. It will get in the way of their PL form, and it also helps the coefficient too. I'm hoping they go all the way to the final and in the meantime we finish above them obv.
