Watching City and it’s like watching a much sharper quicker version of us. It’s like everything is just played at a real place but controlled at the same time.
Defensively they are very similar to us. They will always give teams a chance.

My theory atm is that Pep really didn’t like how he acted after the treble win. His antics were too high profile. Pep (bit like Fergie) has never really liked the big personalities. Grealish was in the press far too much for the wrong reasons.

Coupled with a slow start to the season and new options + he’s out of the good books. Pep is ruthless, once you’re out you’re out. He clearly liked Jack as a player last season, mainly for his willingness to make sacrifices to his game, but that’s now changed.

But mostly it’s because he’s an overhyped wankhorn.

wasn't even the best manager in the town

Eddie Howe's B'mouth, with a fraction of the their spend, their support, and no history, beat them convincingly that season and easily beat them to promotion. And Howe's not the best English manager either.

We've got better players now with so many wealthy clubs putting masses of money and effort into their academies. In the CL our clubs always perform, most of them have at least 2-3 eligible for England.

tbf to Waistcoat Gareth, I'm sure he told the FA he wasn't up to it.

Absolute muppet, no clue on formations, tactics, alwasy gets schooled by decent oppo. Beats the minnows and that's pretty much it. Can't hold onto a lead in semis, finals.

the players implement the plan, tactics.

Strange how some of these players who respond very well to Pep, Klopp, etc underperform with the bearded wonder
I get that but these guys are big players and no matter what plan or tactics there is they still have to perform to their ability. They can play from the structure and express themselves more.

Almost like Pep has been there years and spent billions getting the team he wants and Ange has been here 2 transfer windows!

But he’s a safe pair of hands as they say and won’t cause any problems!

Just the way the English FA like it and always have done which is why ‘characters’ like Brian Clough and Jackie Charlton weren’t considered!
