Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I don't know how many of us were there, but as you say, the following that day was huge. I drove up with 4 mates. After parking up we went to a pub by the bridge, before you cross for the ground. I've checked Google Maps, it's still there, but under a different name. The pub was already packed with Spurs inside. We sat outside in the sun. While we were there more and more Forest started to turn up and stand outside. There was no trouble when we were there, but when we left and were walking across the bridge we heard a loud roar, I think it kicked-off.
When we walked around the corner of the Trent end the police were herding the Spurs fans towards the turnstiles in the East Stand, there was already big queues to get in. We were packed in like sardines, when around 50 or so Spurs fans were escorted down the pitch towards us. I remember thinking to myself, they're not going to put them in here? They did.
I can't remember how much of the East Stand we had, but as you say, we were also in the corner behind goal opposite the Trent end.
The pub is The Trent Bridge Tavern or something and is now a strictly home pub.
We were drinking in the city somewhere and ended up in the big end, Bridgeford Stand ? behind the goal. There were loads of forest in there and it was kicking off so we were pulled out and marched down the side of the pitch and into the already packed away bit as others have described.
Ricky scored in a 1.1 draw. Huge Spurs turnout

Exactly. I was in the corner of the away end and walked up to a block on the side at right angles to the home end. The reason I said 10k is because either that season or the one before the Daily Mirror published a table of the average away attendances and Spurs were top with https://m.facebo

From a forest point of view. Estimate 8000 spurs = more or less same as you

Cheers mate.

So basically everything they called me out on I was proved right.

Swivel you fucking two bob shit cunt Forest gimps.

Edit. According to that article the fencing went up at the following game.

Those melts calling me a lying cunt have been utterly humiliated.
👌

Sorry for the triple quote btw.

Anybody else thinks that Conte would give a chance to Doherty this week over Emerson? They are going to park and we may need Doc's directness against Forest to break them up.
Starting Spence would have been good but he's nowhere near Conte's plans at the moment

Exactly. I don’t think anyone who wasn’t on the terraces before ticketing understands just how mobbed it got and how many you cram into a pen.

Remember, any standing at lower leagues now is still ticketed, so they can limit the numbers.

If you’ve seen those videos of the Japanese chaps shoving people on to trains to squeeze them in, that’s how busy it was. If you got On to the terrace after 2pm, you were right at the back and could barely see anything sometimes.

Still a massive laugh though. Especially goal-surges, unless you got thrown into a barrier.

One of my favourite film quotes.

Ok, I like you again.
