That's a song innit?

If the primary block to hiring Nagelsmann is who has final control over budgets & transfers, Levy may be offering a solution by installing a DoF that JN knows in Spors & promising (on his honour & exam results) to keep the fuck out of it.

Whether JN buys the Levy gambit we shall see in due course.

I assume they're also working on some kind of deal with with Bayern over their ridiculous financial demands for a guy they've already fired & replaced.

Sounds like it’s nothing to do with Bayern, that’s fine. It’s that Nagelsmann doesn’t want to commit until a DOF is in place. They said similar on the VFTL podcast yesterday.

If we fail with JN just delete this club. Don’t bother no more
Respectfully, I hate this attitude.

Nagelsmann is not a magician, he's not a guarantee, and nothing happens at the level we're aspiring to by sheer force of personality. If any of that were true Jose and Conte would have worked.

Is going to formationally flexible German pressball a logical step for us given the nature of our squad, our resources, our league, and our aspirations to play more positive football? I think so. But that's the question and how we execute on that will tell the tale.

There are other quality coaches out there who could do the same. If Nagelsmann only wants the job based on the vain delusion that he can finally be the manager to bend Daniel Levy to his will on transfer decisions and spending, his tenure here will be a disaster that sets us back and we shouldn't hire him and move on to "lesser" options.
