Chelsea sphincters will start to shrink and extremities will shrivel on appointing Poch if we did get closer to Nagelsmann.

The risk to them gets higher if they appoint the man we didn't chase and we appoint one that didn't want them.

For Poch's sake, I hope they bottle it and appoint someone else because it's a really risky job for Poch to take as well.

instantly kills his chance of coming back here and if it doesn't work, he's not getting another big job soon.

If Nagelsmann is genuinely interested then it really is a no brainer.

You move heaven and earth to get him. Give him what he wants
I'm sure he could get paid the salary he wants but on the footballing side he wont get the players he wants.

Hence "give him what he wants"

You realise we are on a forum right and we speak in hypotheticals, no?
Ok so hypothetically, he's not going to get what he wants. Both Conte and Mourinho didn't get what they wanted, so he sure as hell won't.

But Conte and Mourinho are a completely different profile to Nagelsmann.

So it's a rubbish comparison

Nagelsmann is a lot better at working with youth, improving players individually and getting the best out of what he has. He's shown that at pretty much every club he's been at.

Conte and Mourinho however have pretty much needed the best resources in the richest clubs of their respective leagues to succeed. Something they were both never going to get here.

Nagelsmann is the best choice of any managers out there who were available. The problem was, whether or not he was actually interested because of his status in the game. If he is, you go get him and let him improve the players we have, actually COACH these players and any new signings we bring in with a DOF he likely has a say in.

If we get Naglesmann I would rather him help choose the DoF, he will have an idea who can help us and who would importantly be able to support him.

Or he sees us more appealing because we don’t have a DOF and he doesn’t want to work with one ala Poch back in the day.

The way we go through managers, I hope we get a DOF

Ok then you just have to look at Poch who numerous times didnt get what he wanted or any other manager we've employed.

Conte for all the criticism did improve us in his first season, took us from midtable to CL and when he left we were in 4th place.

Did you hate Pochettinos reign here?
