That would be the most sensible option but I'm not sure if you can actually do that within the loan rules..
From what I understand, every loan is different; each is a negotiated contract, which is why we typically never know if a player can be recalled or not (there are reasons to have no recall clauses--the receiving club might be willing to cover more of the wages if they knew they were getting the player for the year, etc.).

So these kinds of escalator (or descalator) clauses might be completely normal and expected.

When DL plays hardball there is only one winner.....

And its not the opposing chairman, or the club, or the player.

Or either set of fans.

I love laying down the bad juju

I wonder if the players will get confused with name calls on the pitch.

SSN BREAKING NEWS (see what I did with the Yellow, there people?)
Sky sources: Fulham's Moussa Dembele is having a medical with Tottenham.
We understand the forward, who has scored 11 goals in all competitions this season, will be loaned back to Fulham for the remainder of the campaign.
It's the last bit that confuses me...
:kanehand:
Either we need cover this season, or we don't...

Unless we can recall him from Fulham if anything happens to HK??

Sky sports now saying he is having a medical and will be loaned back. If he's gonna be loaned back what's the point of signing him now if he's out of contract in the summer?

I guess it's as a favour to Fulham who are under a transfer ban and can't buy a replacement, it's probably the only reason they are selling to us as well.

Fulham have a transfer ban so they don't want him to go yet. I'm sure that complicates matters. If he is our only player then I hope we can recall him if Kane is injured. But it may also signal that we are signing an older striker too?

I assume he wouldn`t be free (tribunal) + better to just get him signed now and not having to fight with other clubs come summer. Same reasoning as behind the Dele Alli transfer last winter window.

One for the teenagers but I do as a kid remember Danny, Rodney and Ray Wallace in the Southampton side, that wouldn't have been easy for the commentator!

Yes remember that but I mean same first name and surname..

Oh and I don't know if there actual is another example, was just wondering if anyone could think of one..
