Problem is he'll be 28 in the summer, if he hasn't developed by now (after 435 games) I doubt he'll develop any further.

Lucas isn't as good as Son but that is no reason to slag off a very good player for us. What is wrong with people? Anf no one is better than Kane, he is head and shoulders above everyone in our team. That is no slight on anyone, Kane can do things that are super human.

Under Poch, Lucas was used more or less as a power sub. Take a look at his goals per minute stats and you'll see what I'm talking about. Looking at just purely goals without context is misleading. He's pretty damn efficient.

Today was the perfect example of why fans calling for 'our lord saviour Lucas' to start every game ought to wind it in.

Always been hot and cold - you never know which Lucas will turn up. 1 in 3 or 4 games he is a top player. The rest of the time he looks like he would be good on a school playground, and little else.

I don't think it was a bad choice to start him today at home either. He just failed in everything he attempted it felt to me.

Arguably one of our most naturally gifted players.
Could also argue he is one of our least effective team players.
