Against Wolves trying to bribe McCalliog to throw the gameWasn't Bremner involved in something shady?
He was accused of trying to fix matches, particularly one against Wolves in 1972 but he was found not guilty in court in the early 80's and sued the newspaper that printed the story, receiving financial compensation.Wasn't Bremner involved in something shady?
I remember reading the papers about that at the time saying Bremner approached McCalliog and said “Hey wee man “ and offered a dealHe was accused of trying to fix matches, particularly one against Wolves in 1972 but he was found not guilty in court in the early 80's and sued the newspaper that printed the story, receiving financial compensation.
Nasty ginge poison dwarf tho, can we agree on that?He was accused of trying to fix matches, particularly one against Wolves in 1972 but he was found not guilty in court in the early 80's and sued the newspaper that printed the story, receiving financial compensation.
He probably did it Baz but they couldn't prove it in court.I remember reading the papers about that at the time saying Bremner approached McCalliog and said “Hey wee man “ and offered a deal
Wolves won giving ManU the title
No I don't think I ever said that.
It was Jose's fault that he didn't play him and tried to shame him into changing his approach. We saw that clearly didn't work and that Levy had to step in to stop Ndombele from demanding his transfer.
Probably made McCalliog try harder! He probably did it Baz but they couldn't prove it in court.
We were 14th when Poch leftClaim victory all you want. I just see Spurs in our worst position in 13 years
The Caledonian Dennis WiseNasty ginge poison dwarf tho, can we agree on that?
I doubt he’s saying he shouldn’t work on attacking patterns to be fair.He shouldn’t work on attacking patterns/movements because we have good players seems stupid.
There’s something wrong with you to hunt down game stats from 5 years ago that nobody cares about.Correct, that was the 0-3 loss to Dortmund. Apologies, the coffee hasn't kicked in yet.
I hated that team with all the burning anger a ten-year-old could muster, maybe more than I knew I hated Arsen@l. I only liked Giles and Lorimer, may they both rest in peace. The Caledonian Dennis Wise
In golfing terms a ‘ nasty five footer’!!
Bremner could play though and with Giles were a formidable midfield
5 points off the top 4 and still in the CL (The Jose defence)We were 14th when Poch left
One of the most funny experiences in my life involved a visit to a Yorkshire bar in Benidorm. I could nearly write a book about it but they had a photo of Alan Smith on the wall but it was hanging upside down.I hated that team with all the burning anger a ten-year-old could muster, maybe more than I knew I hated Arsen@l. I only liked Giles and Lorimer, may they both rest in peace.
I knew I hated the Arse in 71 at just nine, I was only vaguely aware of our rivalry, coming from rural Norfolk with precious few points of reference. I learnt all that stuff in the coming years as I grew into my lilywhite identity. After that crap double they faded from my view if I'm honest. The Leeds dislike was more organic somehow, I had an instinctive loathing for them, that bullshit way they lined up in the centre circle and did that turning wave, it proper fecked me off as a kid.
And don't get me started on these...
Cunt team, cunt fans.

We were top at some point and well advanced in three cups, admittedly the wheels fell off, but he had some part in what was workingWTF are you talking about. I have not a single sign he has improved any of our players. He is just a narcissist and I wish he never happened to my club.
