Indeed - 5 Asia Cup matches in 2 weeks - full 90 minutes played in all the three group stage games and full 120 in the two knockouts with two more matches to go in short order. Assuming Korea will beat Jordan in semis.

The knockouts I understand - but Klinsmann could have easily given Son some rest in the group stages matches - instead he’s going to be completely spent by the end of the tournament. Thank goodness we got Werner in.

Lets be honest, we cant really complain about tiredness given we've had no Europe and went out of the cups early.

Basically 1 game a week from now on. Son will be fine. We've played him into the ground way worse than this before.

And yes having Werner in does allow for genuine rotation now.
 
Really hope he wins it. Spurs through and through, stuck by us and signed an extension at our lowest point when a certain other player wanted out.

Win it, come back and lead us to the quad next season 💪🏼
