Why would Son go to Liverpool?
Assuming Jose indeed prefers a counterattacking style at Spurs, I would think Son would be a centerpiece of the team. The guy is blazing fast.
Also, Son is never going to Liverpool as long as Firmino, Salah and Mane are all there. He's a player that wants to play every game.

Considering how he reacted over the Gomes thing, I would be inclined to agree. Getting rid of him would be stupid anyway, he's one of your best players.

His agent who he had worked with since the age of 16 on a deal by deal basis (he has never had a formal contract with them) sold his company to a Korean agency firm that started using Son's image and Tottenham branding without his/the clubs permission. And apparently the agent sold his firm to this Korean company despite Son telling him not to.
Seems like he is trying to avoid some form of image rights controversy since agencies have A LOT of control over their clients in the east Asian entertainment industry.
