I get that he is not a glamourous player. His job is to get the ball, play the safe pass and allow the squad space on the ball. That is a very tough job when you are not consistently playing.

Looking at Harry's stats, he averages a pass completion rate of >92%. That means when he gets the ball - we don't lose it.

Have you not been watching the clips people are putting up on this thread. Im not going to go through every single little thing with you but that one disgusting performance vs Everton should be enough for anyone with half a brain to realise he should be playing at a lower league team.

And to answer your question. Yes it is better to have 24 players + skipp, sess etc rather than 25 including winks. A new manager will be forced to give him a chance because he will be the teachers pet and valuable playing time for a better player will be wasted, points dropped, until the new manager realises how terrible he is.

Maybe PSG will buy him for 40m but they will have to compete with Mancity of course:pocheyes:

Well guess what, in this team, shit as it is, that's Harry Winks' role.

He has declined horribly as a player, and it's mainly because he seems like a good kid and he's one of our own that I want to move him on and give him a chance to put the pieces back together.

This is a meaningless stat. Players with lower success are generally just attempting more ambitious passes. Winks lingers on the ball too long then 9 times out of 10 passes back to Alderwiereld.
Watch games, don't use stats.
 
Tbf, he's mediocre but he's not usually that bad. Just uncreative, bland, timid, meh. That performance was a turd bigger than Godzilla's morning dump.

Rubbish.

Many/most teams go in with less than a 25 man squad, some as low as 21.

You don't have to have 4 club and 4 other association, the only limits are 25 players maximum in total, of which a maximum of 17 players that do not qualify as home grown or association trained, and a maximum of 4 association trained.

No issues at all if we only have 2 home grown, 4 association, 17 foreign plus under 21's Sessegnon and Skipp and other academy players, still more than enough, even if we only name a 23 man squad.

Maybe it is you rather than the kids that need to understand the rules.

What has he done to earn his place back? Apart from being besties with the caretaker manager? Even the dinosaur had figured out he was shit and dumped him.

Dele i can understand bringing back because he didn't do that much wrong just Jose being a cunt. But Winks was actual fucking dog-shit all the time and yet he comes straight back in once Jose leaves.

It's like an amateur football team. Pick your pals.
