Nah.

He could walk around in a Tinky-Winky costume making weird sounds while drinking sour milk, hurling abuse at strangers and being generally unpleasant. It still wouldn't matter.

Not really, but that wouldn't be funny.

Fuck that, let's be real about it. It wouldn't matter. Blind love for a perfect man.

Nice story. Superstar footballer marries childhood sweetheart after he became rich and famous. Good luck to them.
Agree.

Oi careful... that pays the Mortgage for some of us!

Earlier on today out of curiosity I checked which matches he'd missed through injury.

The only decent or on a good run of form team was City.

The rest were:

West Brom 1-1 (created loads of chances, Foster playoing out of his skin as per usual)
Bournemouth 0-0 (whom we beat 5-1 away last season and then 4-0 at home this one)
Leicecster 1-1 (didnt take chances)
Soton 2-1
Burnley 2-0
Swans 3-1
Watford 4-0 (hit the bar with a screamer of a free kick coming off the bench at the end)

Makes you wonder how many he might have scored if he'd played more games. He probably wouldnt have missed a pen against Citeh either.

Alvaro Morata career goals - 40

Harry Kane goals in the last 2 EPL seasons - 54

Seriously.. how much is Kane worth in today's market?

I find it amusing how other clubs have watched us give a vanilla looking player a run in the first team, and have seen him grow into a double golden boot winning forward at 23 y/o.

Do the clubs then think "we could do that".

Nerp. United block Rashford's progress by singing Zlatan and Lulaku, City bin off Iheanacho, Arse sign any old cunt from Spain/France, etc.

That's the beauty of having Poch as manager. The others rely on an open cheque book to be successful. Pep has been found out, Mourinho and Klopp have always relied on spending big and Wenger no longer knows how to nurture youth. Conte is no different.

They are all scared of trusting youth. England as a nation owes a lot to Pochettino.
