You still didn't like/rate them for what ever reason? there are countless options two for me Michael Carrick & Nick Barmby just didn't get it with them.

I loved Barmby. When he broke through he looked like the real deal. Never the same after his shin splints injury.

I never got the point of Paul Allen. Like Justin Edinburgh, he just seemed to be there. Then again, I wouldn’t consider either of them to be good players. In fact, if I thought a player was good I’d probably think that because they made a difference, so it’s not the easiest question to answer.

Kaboul was decent for us but also a former goon/chav so I could never warm to him.
I'd have liked to see him do more based on the ability he had. Great feet, classy style just didn't throw himself into the danger areas enough for my liking but that wasn't his style

Very seldom do you get an underrated English footballer these days. I think the reason people didn't pay much attention to him as a footballer is because English fans love a bit of blood & thunder to someone's game

I like Lamela but I think the praise he gets sometimes is unwarranted. Flashes of brilliance but 23 goals in 154 games is a disappointing return based on what I was expecting of him. In the Premier League he averages 3/4 a season I believe. Strange for someone so talented

Although he was one of the best strikers I've seen, I never liked Lineker, even though he scored twice against that lot down the road in a semi final. I didn’t take to Teddy either, again not because I thought he wasn't very good - just didn’t like him.
