Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Meet him years ago, after he'd retired. Oakmere junior school in potters bar. Some fete or whatever. Absolute gent who took time in meeting all they said hello. Very good player and a spurs legend. Much respect for the man.

I remember him scoring a blinding diving header to make it 2:2 at old Trafford mid 1980s I think.
We had tickets in the United end and it all kicked off when we reacted.. only 15 or so of us but we held them off! COYS

He came to my Son's football presentation in the village he lived for many years some time ago. He did the presentation and stayed around after speaking to all the parents well into the evening. A true gentleman and well worthy of his place in our 'legend' team.

One of the nicest people in football.

A credit to the sport, an inspiration for playing at the top level for years while suffering from diabetes and an absolute Tottenham legend.

And has anyone ever looked happier to lift the FA Cup?

Not sure if there is another dedicated Mabbutt thread...?

This on the BBC is a real mark of the man though...

"Mabbutt has spent two hours a day since the pandemic began calling vulnerable Spurs fans to provide some company. He is now nearing 1,000 calls."

Love the guy.
