Throw him in the starting line-up for a big Prem game that matters, like on Sunday.

We've predominantly seen him in EL games against teams of farmers, playing in a patchwork team predominantly made up of reserves, with one or two regular league starters. Depending on the type of player, that might be quite a hard environment to drop in to and hit the ground running.

Play him alongside our best players in a proper match and lets see if he shines then. I think we'll quickly see a different player who gets lifted nearer the level he ought to be by the occasion
The problem with this proposal is that we are in serious quest for the title. Tough luck but the way things are going well for us in the PL, we need not to mess it up with any experiment that could fail us (inserting Bale in a PL match )

His time will come if not this season then next one hopefully. Let’s not rush it nor force it. For the time being bringing Tottenham the EL would do major good for Bale, let him continue to improve in that competition. Maybe in the knockout stages Mou might end the experiment if he failed to improve in which I highly doubt. But it start tomorrow.

Come on Bale.

It's great we have Bale and even greater that we aren't dependent on him. If we can get our second choice CM straightened out, our second unit, led by Bale and Vinicius, should be more than capable of dispatching most teams. Bale can really shine in these kinds of games as his slight loss of pace/physicality is less of an issue against lower tier clubs.

Ask yourself if Eze would have done more against Antwerp than Bale did. Or Benrahma.

I hope he comes good but without his massive status and connection to the club he would be getting a lot of abuse from fans now.

Mate we are 11 rounds into the League.
He is slowly but surely getting his fitness back. Lets not forget it was his free kick that got us the lead.

How much you wanna bet you'll be saying that in another month's time?

Is there actual signs that he could start making a big impact for us soon?

1 goal in 6 EL games, which was a pen. Literally every one of our forwards who played EL games have at least equalled that. Son, Kane, Dele, Lucas, Lo Celso, Vinicius all have better g/a, and you certainly can't say he tracks back more or creates more.

As we progress into the knockouts, he'll run out of easy games to build up fitness. Then what?

He may still contribute as a bit part player over the course of the season, but the mass delusion over him is a bit much.

Dear me,
All I said was he is progressing. No more no less.
Simple question. Are we better off with him IN the squad or not ?
