Seems like a nice boss...people leaving without another job to go to is not a great sign...should fit right in at Chelsea...

You must be a right asshole if people that have spent years working under Daniel Levy leave without having another job lined up

Mourinho did a terrible job in Rome despite winning the cup that nobody want to be in. He also did a terrible job at Spurs. And he did a terrible job at United after his first season there. So he has been doing a terrible job overall since 2017. Why do they want him back??

Please don’t try and talk them out of it! 🙏🏻😂

"The " state the club was in " when it was sold was a top 4 team who had just lost both domestic finals on penalties during a traumatic season involving sanctions and a forced sale.

And the club was debt free.

What a great club to buy, yet it was wrecked and ruined from top to bottom leading to the worst Chelsea team in decades all within a few months. This is all down to the owners"

Deluded cunt.

The club was in 1.6bn debt.

The club had been running at a massive loss for 20 years.
I think his point was that Abramovich wiped the debt for them. Basically donated them 1.6B. And they still found a way to fuck it up. Quite an achievement really.

What do they do. In the past before FFP had teeth they could just buy their way out but now:

1 they have had Potter and Poch fail, ok maybe Poch is past it but would be bad luck for both good managers to turn to shit.

2 can’t hire Klopp or Alonso, they will be going to better teams and Klopp won’t manage another English team anyway.

3 to me Jose looks the obvious with his connection but Jose with a bunch of young prospects! Would be worse than Potter or Poch, it would be relegation level football.

Yeh I think they are fucked. Poch is broken, their squad is a mess of mostly mediocrity and they have huge FFP issues with both Boehly short term and Abramovich long term.

They always fuck up big time and always land on their feet but this time it feels very different.

Uhmmm, all the initial noise, both with aaaalllllllll the transfers and Potter, was "this is a (long term) project". It kept being peddled out through the media. We stick with Potter, trust the process and the project. Guess what? They didn't stick with Potter.

Then they hired a second project manager, and now their knees must surely be wobbling. With Poch and the project. Can they fire a second project manager, regardless of whether they can afford to, and sell it as a project to a third manager?

They are in an interesting, and for us funny, catch 22. Do they admit defeat and go with a steady pair of hands? Where, as you suggest, Jose seems the obvious connection, if not choice. If they do, it's kind of a reverse what we've done, with two - on paper - steady hands, before giving up the ghost and going with a long term project instead.

Love it!
