If you have any ambition of winning the league you can't sign players from City, they have unlimited money - the only thing stopping them from buying anyone is FFP.

Scum have basically stocked them up to sign anyone they want. Signing Jesus and Zinchenko is just an admission that you can't compete. Same goes for Chelsea and Sterling.

Sorry but this is farcical reasoning.

Sorry it isn't. City are already planning to go for Saka.

It's farcical because it ignores the simple fact that if Woolwich didn't buy Jesus, somebody else would. You may as well at least bring in the player who massively strengthens you, rather than worrying about City getting money they'll always find a way to find anyway.

If there was a game changing RWB or midfielder at City who was available, I'd love us to sign him and wouldn't give a damn about the potential repercussions of them having more money.

There are plenty of players clubs would like to sell that they can't

Scum and Chelsea have helped City massively

Spurs had 9 points after 3 games last season with win against City without Kane. Delusional Woolwich fans what’s new. When the pressure comes they will crumble like last season.

Posted in the other matches thread but probably best suited here. If today's performance for Leeds is the norm at home then Woolwich are about to have a really tricky run of fixtures coming up from mid September.

EL Fixture
Brentford (A)
Spurs (H)
EL Fixture
Liverpool (H)
EL Fixture
Leeds (A)
Man City (H)

And that's over a 32 day period!!

Did you say this about the fans at the Lane that who clapped Saka onto the pitch after the world cup?

Nope. Because that was obviously completely different. Supporting A nice kid who got racially abused is not comparable at all with hating a rival club. Like not at all.

A great many things transcend football, racism is one of them.

Pretty weird comparison to make tbh.
