Well that's what happens when HE refuses to sign a new deal. Again, the EXACT same thing Cuntballs did.

What can't people see here? Both players refused to leave for fees, both players refused lucrative contract offers, both players ultimately will leave for nothing leaving us struggling to replace them.

True but I can’t dislike the guy as much as Campbell. He stated that if you cut him open he bleeds blue before pissing off to our enemy having deliberately stalled on a contract. Even to this day he still doesn’t seem to understand that what he did was morally wrong. He could have allowed himself to be sold to any club as he was a great defender at that time but we got nothing for him and to add insult to injury he rocked up at Woolwich. Utter scum

When he was it his best, you all praised him like he was the second coming. Fuck Modric, you had Eriksen. I remember how you were all talking about the cheap wages he was on and that he should have an extension. He got that, 75. A big raise, but nothing compared to what Kane was offered. Still he plays without any complaints.
I remember that he stated, when he joined the club, that his ambition was to become on of the best and to play in Spain at some point of his career. No complaints from anyone, it was understood that he was a rising star like Modric and would probably/hopefully be to big for the club.

The truth is that the club should have offered him a decent contract 3 seasons ago, just like Kane and Dele. But since he is the quiet type that does not swing his arms like a monkey in a phonebooth, the club thought they could have a cheap world class player on the low until he was 2 seasons from his contract ending. It is their own fault that it ended like this.
Eriksen just quietly mentioned at the nations gathering, that he might want to try something new. Now he is taking shit from everyone at your club and he is not complaining. What a way to treat a very loyal player.

How long is a football career, 12 years? He his given your club 6! at a very low (for footballers) wage. Now he wants to try something else and you guys cant even give him that? Why, just because he mentioned that he wanted to try something new!
Loyal supporters my ass.

I will not write in this forum again, because I think you are not worth the time. Just think about what he has done for your club and how you are paying him back.

By the way, he probably could have left this summer, but your ever so worthy leader, decided he wanted 100 mill. for a player with one year left on his contract, realistic? I think not.

I will find myself out!

Perhaps you should take up your frustration with Eriksen and his agent for agreeing to, and signing his contract.

You can't blame Spurs fans for expecting their players to give 100%.

When you're paying 870~ Danish Krone to watch your team lose 2-7 at home, or putting tens of thousands each season into supporting your club, you have a right to expect a level of commitment and effort.

My memory is that Eriksen a long time ago said something about 'Tottenham being part of his plan in football' which suggests using us as a stepping stone. He's done that, and has taken an awful lot from our club. We developed him like many other top class players. It's a 2 way agreement, he got what he wanted, and so did we. Now he couldn't give a fuck because his mind is beyond us - so are we supposed to mindlessly applaud him while he makes a mockery of our 137 year old club?

In England, the vast majority of football fans support a club - not a player. I understand that's different for nations with fuck all worth watching on offer - so players are supported above clubs. (My girlfriend is Finnish and we have to watch every Norwich game that doesn't clash with Spurs). We will always prioritise the club over any player. Sorry that he represents a whole nation - it makes no difference to us really.

Another hard fact for you to take will be that English players are 'worth' more than foreign ones.
In transfer fees and salaries - there is a premium to be paid for Englishmen which often doesn't reflect their quality.

You tell us Dele and Kane 'swing their arms like monkeys in a phone booth' demanding contracts - yet are also commanding respect for 'your player'?
Fuck off, mate.

He has been offered more money but has refused to sign and is running his contract down so he can go for nothing-how is that being very loyal?
I don’t care what wages he is on. There is no excuse for how he has performed for some time.
So yes stick to your word and do everyone a favour and disappear from the forum

And by the way - Eriksen, as talented a player he is.. has never been close to the level of Modric in all honesty.
There's always been question marks over him about not turning up for big games, or going missing when we need him.
I would put decent money on him never winning the Ballon d'Or, regardless of where he ends up.

Bunch of ill-informed bullshit.

Fuck off, sad fanboy twat.

I hope your boy retires early from international football in a couple of years for the sake of desperately clinging to Real Madrid's bench and the last remnants of his hope of ever being seen as a so-called world class La Liga galacticunt... Then hopefully you may start to to understand what it feels like to be let down by a player.

Not "Ciao" please .... let's make it Goodbye, it's so much more final.

Good to see the door's always open to newcomers.

(In fairness, he did turn up to the party, tell us it was shit and our fault and then refuse to leave).

People really are strange.

:roseunsure: (This is a picture of Danny about to google other Danish players, btw).

Although I'm long since bored of the whole Eriksen nonsense, I feel he could at least go out on a slightly more positive note if he accepts a transfer in Jan and in his last game is red carded with a 2 footed tackle.

Incoming: Another Dane entering the arena to defend his banner men... (though not as fiercely as you might think).

For starters, danish media has begun striking out at Tottenham (the club) for handling CE badly at the end of their common contract with him. It is in Danish and I dont really give a shit about your illiterate british population, but because I am nice, I will give you a short insight: It is Thomas Graversen (former Everton and R.Madrid) saying that your club is being unprofessional and stupid for not facilitating its best player.

CE is probably the highest ranking player in Scandinavia atm. Probably not best in form, but you guys already knew that, right!? ;-) There are quite a lot of eyes on him, not only in Denmark, but also from Sweden, Norway and Finland. That includes players with ambition to go abroad for bigger salary and better prospect. Now Tottenham, being that second tier european club, that it is (still hats off to you for reaching last years cl final), need to offer these players something more, if the club wants to be able to attract the likes of Zlatan, CE or Erling Braut Håland, because you are not a "trophies-winning-team" and Totty dont pay foreigners top wages.

So like it or not, your club is looked upon as a stepping stone (at least), with a fair chance of not being chronicly benched (because you have no world class players onboard and team will struggle during season without high talented players). But Tottenham is also a team with great potential and a promising setup - or at least it was. I will put in my first real oppinion here: I think you should be very happy with this - it replicates how Ajax Amsterdam is viewed upon by many I know. This, I think, must be the solution to attract all the best talents abroad, without paying idiotically high sums in transfer and salary. It is a good place to be in for any club, right?!

Now your club (and a few of your supporters) are part of an ongoing image change. A rude one. First, we get a closer look at how Levy does business, which means as soon as you become a Tottenham player, you'll likely end up being treated like cattle - with a high risc of a near death carreer experience - because a player with a 1 year contract should not be 100 mill, that is a lockdown = stepping stone is wobbly.
Second, the club benches players running out their contract and loses games rather than letting you play, even if you placed 6 years of your carreer in the club, being (for a very large part of the time) top 3 squad player = security is gone. Third, the prospect is becoming less and less promising. Pochettino is gone and squad rejuvenation has not been successfull = setup is not promising anymore (again look at Ajax, they sold almost everything after last season).

Seen from over here, its becoming apparent that CE has been pretty loyal to Tottenham (could have chosen from higher shelf but gave Tottenham a chance and was part of a very good time, when he shifted from Ajax. Never demanded high salaries and has delievered quite a lot of stats and recognition - though I am sure many of you sad people cant wait to yell how bad he has been for you, even since now and back. I really dont care - caught up in emotions and illogical thinking is a waste of time. Fine, if you want to judge him, then consider his wage (against others in Tottenham) and how he still makes a difference to your team, even to this day (or call out Pochettino AND Mourinho for still using him).

Look... I am no fan of CE in particular, the frustrations you all feel about him, we get the same with him from our national team. Whenever he plays like a turd, the national teams is struggling. Everyone wants him off the carpet, when performance is shit. But it never happens and it is because he can pass and setup like nobody else and the national coach knows that. Tottenham have nobody else as well - Lo Celso is not able to, yet, at least.

Second oppinion: Tottenham fans just have to accept that the time you are in atm, this is where your real frustration comes from. But it happens anytime and for every club on the planet. Look at R.Madrid. ManU. Woolwich. And Brøndby (I hate them). So, now is the time to celebrate the players that lead you to a fantastic period, maybe ending at the highest point with a cl final spot and then start to support more than ever, because its downhill now and I am pretty sure your club and their players need support now, more than last year. Taking it out on players, still in the squad, is just... ??? And not honoring a player, that has been in your club for this long, I have no words to describe how badly I think of you as fans for this. English football fans and European football fans are truly of different calibers - with a nasty bad finger pointing at you. I dont get it.

As a discloser, I will apologise in advance if I have said something that was truely over the line, that really was not my intention and then I am sorry. Also, as I think I tried to state earlier, I am no particular fan of CE, certainly no fan of Tottenham or any other english club. I was/am trying to be fairly objective, but I acknowledge that I share nationality with the devil in your camp.
