A friend of mine went to Bletchley Park (home of the codebreakers / enigma machine) and during the showing of a post-war film, there was a clip about the football. In this particular clip we had a mascot called Spurtacus, the match in question was a game against Man Utd which we won 2-0. A little bit of research tells me that this was in 1951 (thank you My Football Facts!) but I can find no mention of Spurtacus anywhere on the interwebs...anyone here ever heard of him?
