Something's not clicking with them. Kulu and Son seem to be overthinking far too much before they make pass allowing Villa to get right on top of them, resulting in a misplaced pass.

Villa have been really poor. They are the home team and have offered next to nothing when the onus should surely be on them to try and take the game to us a bit. Hopefully they'll do that in the second half and leave a bit more space for us to exploit.

About three occasions in that half where a through ball almost came good for a clean shot on goal... but each time it hit a Villa defender.

Not coincidentally, nearly all of Villas good moments have come from us trying to play through the middle and hitting one of their players, prompting a quick break with numbers.

No it’s not. It’s more like poch ball before he was fired.

Conte/Jose ball was mostly sit back and counter, which is the opposite of what we do.
