I agree, and would never boo him. He gives absolute maximum every time out, and it’s clear that he understands the system and tries to play within it. He is simply and totally hopeless going forward.

Is there any chance that the long upcoming break will give Spence a chance to get fully up to speed in Conte’s eyes? It’s clear he is our best hope for the position.

We have no option but to back Conte and get him the players he needs, it will be hard to get an elite manager if he left.

That being said Conte isn’t immune from criticism. Poch it has to be said is still by far our best manager of the past few decades and he made errors. If you get £15m a year you are in the hot seat.

Conte was great last season but this season his managerial performance has been at best average. He needs to buck up.

It's not easy to build a solid defense with midtable players and cloggers like Emerson, Dier, Davies and Lenglet etc. (Romero is our only class centre-back), but so far this season nothing suggests that Conte is a master tactician or even a coach that makes players better. His game management is very suspicious as well.

He is supposedly the one who is in charge.

Also, there is making 5/10 players play like 10/10 players. That's not what anyone demands of him.

Right now, he's making 5/10 players play like 2/10 players AND he keeps doing so game after game after game.

It's not about being "master" whatever. It's about being just a basically competent football coach. He's showing none of that.
