This would do for me
Beautiful. Never going to happen.

Put the cockerel in the middle, the UA logos on the sleeves and I'd pay a small fortune for both shirts.

Maybe I'm young, but I'm a fan of the badge on the left chest. Have never understood why people prefer the central badge, other than for nostalgic purposes.

To me, these kits depicted are absolutely perfect. I'd take the predictability of having those exactly every single year over the anticipated waiting for each release of new annual kits.

Nostalgia is a factor, but it is ultimately subjective and I liked the centred logo back in the 80s as much as I would like it now. I just think it would be a nice change, from the offset logo in use these days, and a nice nod to our past.

We only had the "centre badge" for 3 seasons in our entire history (less than wearing a red home shirt for perspective). But these were very successful seasons, hence the nostalgia.

It's over the heart innit... so that when players score and beat their passionate beating hearts with (contractually obliged) fervor and loyalty, it rings truer, like they actually mean it!
Have you ever seen the confusion on a little footballer's face when he tries kissing the badge that isn't there, 'cos it's in the middle this season...? sends them into all kinds of contract-breaching panic!!

Crikey, how old do I feel when we talk about the 80s as Retro!
