You do understand the Arse set up not to outplay us but counter us/exploit set pieces? And that isn't hindsight. The moment we got countered and it was Saka vs Davies, we all knew what was going to happen. The moment we conceded our first corner it wasn't a question of if Vicario was going to have a player stood in front of him, it was a question of who.

If stats give you comfort fair enough, but I'm not doing any mental gymnastics to pretend we weren't thoroughly beaten tactically once again by yet another team that exploits our obvious weaknesses which we refuse to address. It's insanity at this point.
And let’s play son through the middle because that will work!….

It's mentality aswe
Yeah, it's a conundrum with Son.

When you compare our technical quality to the teams we are chasing, the gulf is wide.

Neeeds addressing big time in the summer.
It's mentality as well if we had a team of Romero's today

Woolwich would be on there way home crying.

Romero would be captain if you take out all the niceties in THFC

He's done fine for a club that finished 8th and just lost one of the best strikers in world football. Hopefully in the summer he addresses the weaknesses of the squad and his tactics.
I think he could at least have dealt with the latter in time for this game!

"We are still not resilient enough, particularly in a transition moment or a set-piece. We allow far too easy access to our goal."

Yep he knows the problem, he's seen it all season.
Now let him try and fix it in the summer with players, coaching, system tweaks and then we'll see if there's improvements.

Nothing much is gonna change in the last 5 games
Knows the problem

Has done fuck all to remedy it

Gillet has been brought in from Australian football to get that VAR goal wrong when the Woolwich player was bent over his backside was sticking out but Gillet drew the line from his feet.

So many things went against Spurs today even the 6 minutes was a joke. Had it been a fair game Spurs would have won and all you lot who are angry (fair enough) would be celebrating.

TOTTENHAM GET THE WORST REFEREEING ON THE PLANET.

Not really.... Spurs being wasteful wasn't the story of the game.
There is a multiverse where VDV goal isn't ruled offside and Kulu actually gets the penalty given and we go in half time 2-1 up.

But unfortunately football isn't like that and we have to live with crap decisions.

I think a draw would probably have been fair result and not too far fetched.

If you think a young swede coming directly from Allsvenskan is going to bring us to the next level overnight, you are in a position to be dissapointed. A man for the future, hopefully, but no way he is up to level overnight

He doesn't need to be good enough to elevate the whole team........ You're misrepresenting what was said.

If he is good he'll get gametime and have a chance to put our currently misfiring MFs on the bench.

I don’t think that he was but VAR so corrupt any close call we wouldn’t get as per the first penalty
You could literally draw any old bollocks line and call it onside or offside dependent on how you felt..... And no one could ever say you were wrong.

It's just bollocks and is no way scientific.

A goal chalked off on a 'maybe he was offside' with just the evidence of a single pixel.
