Why can he not change formation and tactics when it's not working? There's loads of things you can do with formations player instructions substitutions but we've just made the same subs all season at roughly the same times. A bit of spontaneity wouldn't go a miss to catch the opposition off guard sometimes.

I think what he meant was it's the first match where they haven't been competitive in anything.
I can't recall any games before today's where we just rolled over. Every game we have been in, even Brighton we didn't give up like we did today.
Don't forget there's also a fair few games where we got saved by lady luck or ref decisions
I agree in part, tactics are always the same and we can blame Ange for that. But in a lot of matches our players seens tottally out of form and it's hard to understand that kind of thing, it's becoming common now.
Not aware of the statistical info, but shouldn't our man Ange be well aware of our weakness now of our players extremely poor understanding of how to strongly perform their own managers philosophy and game tactics in the first half? Our players seem to consistently have little clue how to cohesively adapt under pressure without the Don interfering. Why is that?

hes got a midfield with lots of different options and he gets the mix wrong a lot it seems. the balance is never quite right. the front 3 today was a terrible choice against that side. no where near enough nous up there or physicality to match fulham's intensity....hes done this a fair few times now.
to be fair bissouma was fucking awful today, prob his worst game. thats not really on ange...but agree with you he waits to long to change things and its the same generic shit most of the time.
be nice to see 2 up top some times and actually take control of the midfield properly. we have the options to do that. the front line is probably our weakest area....actually thers no probably about it, it is our weakest area.

Our forwards created chances and should have taken them. The criticism should be on the players, not the manager.

AVB had nothing other than "pass to Bale", which got him the rank of our 2nd highest win % manager in 78 years - behind Ange.
We have averaged 1.89 points per game.
It would take more than Liverpool and City doing us 5-0 and 6-0 respectively to get Ange sacked.

Cant play a highline for highline sake. The amount of times our defenders have had to sprint back because of a simple through ball means the positioning and tactics ahead of the ball are off axis.
We are not the only team in the league whose centre half's push high up the pitch. Woolwich, Liverpool, Man City all do it. But we get played through far more often and concede much more goals.
