Recently watched FourFourTwo - The GENIUS way Tottenham came back against Man City on youtube which was a tactical analysis on how Ange adapted formation in game at the Etihad in the recent 3-3 game against them. It is a brilliant breakdown of how Ange took us from 36% poss in the first half to 57% in the second.

Ange switched to a double pivot in the middle to regain a numerical advantage to counter Citeh pressing man for man. He forced Pep's hand to either stick to man to man press and drag Rodri out of position or keep him as cover and give us room to play. Pep wasn't bold enough to leave Citeh man for man in his own defence there for they surrendered possession.

So I expect 4231 tonight and most likely a double pivot of PEH and Bentancur with the later being a deep lying playmaker as GLC was against them last time.
But Ange only knows how to play one way apparently? :ange-hmm:

Pfft, pressure smessure! Don't talk to me about pressure.

That's not pressure.

Pressure is trying to time jizzing with the exact moment the money shot happens on the porno you're watching. THAT'S pressure.
We're describing exactly the same thing maaate, just using different words.

My gooner 'mate' just posted a link showing how long since we last won a trophy saying today is the day Tottenham can no longer win a trophy, it happens every year.

Surely he has gone to soon? I know whenever I do something like this it always backfires!

I feel like the stadium is going to be electric tonight , I just hope we have learnt our lesson from the Chavs game and we can be up for it but not allow ourselves to get wound up by their players, Pep would have been watching that Chavs game and knows the easiest way to beat us is if we go down to 10 men!

Yes someone needs to punch Cuti in the face and tell him if he gets a red he’ll have his arse handed to him

Sorry, but I cannot agree with that. Tonight's game is massive. A win will help to define the New Spurs under Ange. The players need to know that THIS is the game they need to turn up for. It's not just any old game. I've already got the severest of collywobbles.

The atmosphere tonight will be incredible.

Ive never said it wasn't a big game.

But losing to City isn't the end of the world. They're a ridiculously good team that are basically at full strength outside of Haaland, who will probably fit enough to make the bench anyway.

If there's pressure, it's all on City. They're the team who have come off the back of a treble, they're the holders, they're the ones who can't seem to beat us or score against us away from home.

100% on all of that.

I think Dixon is quite insightful compared to basic buffoons like Townsend and Dublin but not when it comes to Spurs, he’s a snide little cunt

Amazing that Wright has matured into a decent fella, used to f’ing hate him as a player
You do realise he's a City fan?
