At the end of the day, If you want to play for any top 6 team in any league you need to fight for your place. These guys know the deal!
If Romero picks up another straight red this season its 4 guaranteed starts, not to mention injuries and fatigue, there's plenty of football to go around next season and I doubt he's too concerned about getting straight in the team when he's just arrived in a new country and barely knows anyone in the team yet.
He will get minutes but better to ease him in nicely and allow him the time to shine when he makes it onto the pitch.

only couple minutes cameo but passing looked good which is promising when we consider that according to reports this is area that requires improvement.

Why would that ever work???
It would work if he can play at right-back like he did at Sampdoria as well. What would you do if Porro isn't available (and Romero and Van de Ven are) ? I also believe that in certain games (or parts) Dragusin could play at right-back and Porro almost as a right-winger pumping in crosses.

Ange isn't gonna play with a back 3.
