I don't know anything about the lad but his career seems to be on a good trajectory, looks a strong athlete and is a natural Centre back and already a serie A starter at 21.

I guess having other top European teams after him also suggests he has great potential.
 
Bayern coming in for him might be a huge blessing in disguise, I instantly have a huge liking for him, even the reports that he felt he owed it to us cause a deal was agreed. I didn't know anything about him two weeks ago yet suddenly I was gutted when I thought we weren't getting him, also a big positive for morale at the club. Plus now they have to go and get Dier, happy days.
