The fee demands are probably driven by journos close to Chelsea, who are desperate to sell him for ffp reasons. .

My view is a maximum of £35m plus £5m or £10m on add ons - alternative is someone like Hackney at half the price and less experience, but within 6 months might be as good as Gallagher

If Chelsea really need £60m we might Palmer and Gallagher for a total of £60m.

It's utter journo bollocks but we will happily use Gallagher as the screen for our rivals to focus on whilst we pick up our next batch of methylamine for Paratici to cook with.

So we have transferred out 2 non HG players (Lloris and Dier) and loaned in one (Werner) so we have ONE Non HG space free in our 25 man squad (as Draguin is classed as u21 this season).

We could use the one Non HG space either for Reguilon or a new incoming player.

And of course still have non HG Perisic in the squad if we needed an extra squad space ..........
 
Fair play to the Club on the Dier deal , he was a good servant to the club and he ain’t in Anges plans so even though it’s a loan it’s still a good outcome for us and for him!

Not really- if the club have identified him as a worthy addition and the manager likes/wants him then 40m +/- ballpark for a player is a fair price from another Prem club, HG tax as well.

Assuming there is enough budgeted in the coffers and we can negotiate it down to what we're happy to pay of course.

We have had some gems in the market wrt to vfm lately, even a slight overspend can be allowed for from time to time.
