Back in the day, it would have been luminaries like Steve Perryman, Ardiles, Hoddle, Roberts (that would have been fun), Lineker (enertaining), Mabbutt, Waddle, Clive Allen.

Some articulate characters there.

Now, presumably, it's Hugo, Harry,, Eric Dier. Maybe PEH.

Whether the likes of Romero, Richarlison & Bissouma feel they are represented by the "Player's Committee" is annother question altogether.

Dixon?

He's meant to be a mix between security and liaison for the players. So calling him a babysitter is not that far from the truth. He makes sure that people show up on time and if a players is out on the town when they shouldn't it is his job to get them.
I get It while they're out on town and whatnot but why's he on the touchline sometimes seems a bit much.

Probably worried Conte would start attacking them.

My mate works at Hotspur Way and managed to get hold of a screen grab of the agenda for today's meeting...

Surely the players committee is old players as well.

If it really is Lloris Dier PEH and Kane that’s an abomination.

3 of those lead the team in mistakes leading to a goal and collectively lost us the most points.

Finding out who is in the committee is owed to any fans that traveled to Newcastle

Two of them don't even share a brain cell.

He's not good enough, no. But he's still one of the senior members of the squad and undoubtedly a big voice in the dressing room. That much has always been clear.
The point is, donkies like Diers should never have managed 9 years and 300 games for a club like Tottenham.
He should have been upgraded by 2018 at the latest. Instead he was given a new deal and has another one coming.
We reward mediocrity. The only outcome is mediocrity.

A player committee. How fucking embarrassing. Like those groups at work who complain about the heating and vending machines. Even having such a thing is completely undermining the authority and integrity of a manager’s power. Pathetic. Our players are absolutely pathetic.

These things exist at almost all clubs. It's not a Spurs exclusive thing.

And usually, they are a key element in keeping a locker room in check since it consists of senior players.

Here it doesn't seem to do that good of a job at setting a standard.

I wonder who people were expecting, FFS....
