Romero actually didn't get booked.

He will be angry about that.

And then a trip to Newcastle. We really should be in a position that if we get a result at St. James Park that we’re near nailed on for top 4. Really favorable run.

Aggression Aggression Aggression

That was probably our best performance of the season, given the opposition, albeit caveated by their woeful form.

What I liked most was that we actually came out first half with aggression all over the pitch. Been screaming for this all season. Doesn’t matter what your tactical approach is, aggression is the key. We were snapping into the press and tackles, were actually hunting and were picking up second balls.

Some really solid performances all over the pitch.

We were good for that win.

Liverpool, United and Newcastle still to play as well, Top 4 is really in our own hands!

Brilliant win.

Skipp was superb. He's back to his pre-injury form. We were worried about the Bentancur injury, but he has filled the void perfectly.
Emerson again very good. Stopped them making runs, tracked back extremely well once in the first half to stop Sterling and get the ball out for a corner, and combined very well with Kulusevski. Another solid game.
Romero was a monster. Gave them absolutely nothing.
Davies and Richarlison utter work-horses. Didn't put a foot wrong the entire game.
Kane didn't start well but grew into the game more and more. His long passes are some of the best in the world. He's the complete forward. The best in the World.

Are we finally witnessing the Conte system close to it's potential? The WB's are unrecognisable from a couple of weeks ago. Long may it continue.

As a sidenote, Chelsea were the most unthreatening team to come to the Lane alongside West Ham and Southampton. Utterly toothless.

Our system is so wing back driven. Who knew all we needed was an in form Royal and Ben Davies.
Ben Davies is immortal. Nothing can kill him. We bought in WB extraordinaire Perisic and now he'd getting benched for Davies lol

Not to mention Emerson and Porro

Looking at the analysis of Skippy's goal, about 25% of the crowd on the shelf side were still queuing up for those shit pies. Serves them right. Hope you were back in your seat, Mrs Perryman Mrs Perryman !
