Irony is a type of figurative language that refers to the clash between expectations and reality. Writers use this literary device as a powerful tool to draw readers in and keep them entertained. For example, it's ironic when a police station gets robbed."Most people" aren't preoccupied with seeing the worst of people.
A large wheelie bin would be an upgrade on Lloris. There's more to add to that also
Fantastic servant but time to upgrade
I've found a suitable upgrade.A large wheelie bin would be an upgrade on Lloris.
Back up keeper is probably more of a specialist role than many give thought to, the ideal ones aren't good enough to be number 1, but they are capable of maintaining a steady level when called upon at the drop of a hat out of the blue.backup GKs are good when they sit on the bench

Whilst a career number 1, who's left on the bench for a lengthy spell, will naturally drop a level or two if they aren't used to not playing week in week out.
How many cup competitions did he single handedly throw us out of due to dodgy keeping ?For the above reason; I think Voorm was always underappreciated here.
I miss Gazzaniga for that reason. He was nothing amazing as far as goalkeepers go. But he was incredibly solid whenever he was needed.Back up keeper is probably more of a specialist role than many give thought to, the ideal ones aren't good enough to be number 1, but they are capable of maintaining a steady level when called upon at the drop of a hat out of the blue.

Far more appealing than, and with longer arms than Jordan Pickford.
Vorm was a dreadful keeper for usHow many cup competitions did he single handedly throw us out of due to dodgy keeping ?
UTD Semi final at Wembley

He was used very sparingly for us in the league and it felt like we were almost throwing the games by continually using him in cup tournaments especially when we got further into the competition . Poch’s loyalty to him may have seemed commendable but he should have looked at the bigger picture and using a rusty keeper in games as important as a cup semi final when we hadn’t won anything for so long was foolhardy and it ultimately cost us as he should have stopped the winning goalDon't remember indiviual incidents so much unless they're epic fails, however...
You can't expect main man consistency from a 2nd pick keeper; but on the whole he was decent in his role..... Which was the point all along.
