It's painfully obvious who has and hasn't seen him and have made their mind up on him based on Everton links.

Not remembering that we signed Bentancur after he was close to signing for Aston fucking Villa.

He got 6 goals in the champions league with Villareal during their recent run in it. Including against Juventus, Bayern and Atalanta.

12 goals in 33 games for Villareal.

Bentancur was an out of favour central midfielder who "one of the best clubs in the world" couldn't wait to get rid of for 15m and were about to sell him to relegating battling Aston Villa...

And then signed for Spurs and turned into one of the best performing Central midfielders.

where does a winger fit into Conte's system? We have Gil sitting on the bench who already can't get a game because he doesn't fit Conte's system.

There are so many positions we needed to fill before this, we have players in our first team that need replacing and we are bringing in wingers? Makes zero sense.

We need a replacement for Lloris, a replacement for Dier, a replacement for Davies. Replacements for all 4 of our wing backs before worrying about a winger.

This is just a typical Levy signing to appease the fans
