Not a bad first half at all
I think Conte shares that view as well tbh. Shame because as a technician he is a very dangerous and promising player, but will never give you any physical threat at all.

Doherty has two of the key traits of a good WB.
1. He gets into the final third with good movement
2. Good at scoring goals.
He doesn't have to be an elite crosser, that's not really his role. He's not there to create chances but to get in the box so we can attack in numbers. Being a WB he should regularly find himself unmarked in the box, like Reguilon used to, and score goals, like Reguilon consistantly failed to do.
His general game could be better though.

He's had a similar story to Lenglet. Highly rated, went to Barca, tanked, had to go on a few loan spells before finding his form again.
