Way too much is written about "togetherness" from many teams, usually, it's PR stuff trying actually to manufacture it rather than describing it. But rarely do you see a team so connected to its fanbase as Argentina and its fans. Truly formidable.
Messi has been working for this moment for years, he's been heavily involved in creating the atmosphere in this team, I remember many a photo of our Argentine players spending time with the whole team on holiday together or at each other's houses etc, Messi was ever-present during each party etc...
Very impressive from Argentina tonight, Croatia has one of the best midfields in the tournament and Argentina didn't allow them to take control. This was certainly their best game so far, so building/peaking bang on schedule.
