It seems like his coach (interim manager since a couple of weeks) said on the phone that he only wants motivated players in the matchday squad, but the directors at PSV weren't happy at all with his decision to go to London.
Well de telegraf who are apparently “Tier 1” in Holland don’t back this up. They don’t say he wasn’t allowed to travel and they say we have agreed a few just need to agree the instalments.

The directors probably heard of it when he was already in London, just shows you what a mess it is there now.
Apparently they did not tell their first choice goalkeeper that he was replaced until he had finished warming up for a game.

He has now also left the club.

Right mess.

But did they say that the directors at PSV (not the coach / interim manager) allowed him to go to London yesterday? PSV-watchers like Rik Elferink claim that they were 'very unamused' when they found out he did.

They don't address it at all, they just say a fee has been agreed and we are working out instalments. They were the first outfit to break this story as well.

I have a feeling that dutch rags are the ones driving this story about him not being allowed to leave etc.

No idea what their directors know.
He had permission so it wasn’t “his” decision to just fly off.
If they are pissed off, it should be at the manager, who let him leave without telling them.
Not sure if the interim-manager (who hasn't much to say about it anyway) allowed him to fly to London, possibly more that he couldn't use him in yesterday's matchday squad if he didn't feel like playing.
