Pity once the League starts and the intensity is upped a smidge he reverts to type.

He's just a bit ahead in terms of fitness and sharpness because he didn't play any international football. Lamela isn't the answer, wherever you start him he always ends up central and players like Eriksen and Son get forced into wide positions to accommodate him.

Good half. Lamela pulling all the strings, great 3rd man runs from Son and Eriksen, they don't know who to pick up. Toby has been immaculate, Jan a yard or two off but nothing serious. Rose and Foyth good too.

Ndombele is great on the ball, while off it he does let players run off him but improved from his first two outings in that dept, so assume he's getting to now team shape etc. Winks, good and bad in equal measure.

Should be 3 or 4 nil up (with pen re foul on Lamela).

They have one decent chance all half.

There is a hell of a player there in Foyth. Biggest problem is that he's still very naive - that foul against Kross and the needless pass that gave the ball away midway through the half spring to mind.

He needs game time, but for now I'd prefer it was against the lower table sides if possible.
