We have generally played poorly for most of the season but have managed to pick up wins. Good trait to win when playing badly but at some point the tide will turn and that is what has happened and is happening.

Gonna be tough now to qualify for the top 4. A couple of rivals are piling on the pressure and hitting form at the right time

Spot on. We've had 1 Champs league game out of the last 5 games and we were already 3-0 up from the first leg so you would have thought we were focused on the league.

Instead we have played well for 45 mins out of all those league games and won none. And Kane and Dele have come back into the team so we should have improved.

It makes Poch look ridiculous to say cups arent important when you cant even play well or win any of those games.

We keep trying to win the league over and over again without spending any money.

The league is a marathon you need depth.
If we don't have it the best we can do is go for a trophy.

We end up neither winning a cup or the league, it's like trying to do everything and nothing at the same time!

What chances did he miss exactly? Two long range efforts and an offside chance? In the second he had one good chance when Eriksen played the ball behind him and the ball bobbled but other that this one is on some shocking defending and an inability to maintain possession.

Don't even know what to say about that. Yet another game when we are totally in control and threw it away. Why can't pochettino be more fucking proactive with subs. Alli and Dier could barely move by the 60th minute yet he takes off Moura who was our best player today. No chance we are finishing in the top 4 now. We've taken 1pt from 12, we were extremely lucky not to lose to Woolwich as well. Dortmund the only 2 games we've played well. I'm fucking livid. Dier back is the biggest kick in the teeth. Turning circle of a fucking freight ship.

im sorry but moura wasnt that great, his incredibly fast , great at dribbling but his footballing intelligence is crap - which means his passing in the final 3rd is awful

Sorry, but the biggest problem today was inept finishing and a casual mentality. The forwards didn't do their jobs. We make it 2-0 and the game is done. Totally self-inflicted.

Our forwards are way too selfish. City pass the ball almost too much, our players seem to want to go for the individual glory whenever they can. How often do we put a ball across the 6 yard box?

To be fair, before Kane come back into the team, we had played 14 games against teams in the bottom half of the table and won all 14...

Since then, we've played 2 in the bottom half (Burnley and Southampton) and lost both...

People will complain about Levy and lack of signings as per usual but this loss is not because of that.

We lost today because of a lack of professionalism and winners mentality. Our players showed up and thought that they only needed to put in a half shift to secure 3 points. That is a problem that can only be fixed by the manager. Not the chairman. And since this is a repetitive problem I wonder if they manager suffers from the same issue.

We can talk about winning mentality and competing for titles all we want. But until we develop a mentality where we take every single game just as seriously as the next one, no matter the opposition that won't happen.

You don't win a league by only beating Man United, Chelsea and Dortmund. You win leagues by beating all the smaller teams below you.

This one is on the players and Poch.

It feels like Poch suffers from this same mentality, especially considering his approach to the cups.

It’s either that or the players don’t give a shit enough to listen to him, neither situation is good enough.

I don’t think Poch will be in a job if we miss out on CL, truth is, it will be down to Levy if we do miss out more than anybody, this is what happens with lack of investment, complacency from both players and management.

We'll continue to win nothing as long as the team is built to get Kane his stats. It isn't a coincidence at all that we always do fine when he isn't in the squad.

We're more dynamic side rather than the predictable team we are when the going gets tough.

We need to build a whole new core of a team. We are so bad at simply passing the ball around with any sense of control, something that a team who want to compete at the highest level should just do automatically, and our pressing is nearly nonexistent these days. In terms of the quality of our football as a team, we are very poor right now. There has been an element of luck in a lot of our good results for quite a while. If the individuals don't shine in key moments, then there is no creative engine to sustain us anymore.

We need to change a lot of thing and for me the first is the policy of just buy young players, we need experience to win things and without it our young player will grow old without win anything at all. New player, that had really won something, can change our mentallity, even Pochettino doens't have this mentality, talking that win silverware isn't important and so on, HE also needs to change.

You think Robertson, Henderson, Milner, Keita or Alexander Arnold are world class? No they’re not. There’s no excuse for this shit performance, don’t twist it.

I wasn't making any excuses for it though. Robertson, Trent and Henderson world perfectly for Liverpool in how they're trying to play though so it's irrelevant. Especially since they are also liked tied at first place and reached a CL final last year.

But only one has consistently contributed to us being a top 3 club

No one person is being honest if they say that either of the other two are better defenders. Par at best between Aurier and Trippier, and KWP isnt even at this table.

ONE offers something up top, so how the living fuck isnt Trippier the better option

We are now essentially giving away 6 points with the losses to Liverpool and city . That will be 11 losses. That is not a team that will , or deserves to play cl football next season . . It’s over mate
