Little bit worried about Winks. Being physically dominated by Witsel and just can't keep hold of the ball.

Odd take.

Winks has made more passes than anyone on our team (bar Eriksen) with a 91% pass completion.. He looked poor and isolated in the opening 30 minutes when he had no support.

But since Poch changed it to a 541 and got Eriksen and Sissoko in there with him, we matched them in midfield and became the better team.

Same people on here complaining about how awful we're playing would be the same people complaining if we went in attacking but 2-0 down half time.

We've been super professional and sure we can nick it. Love to keep a clean sheet just cos all the pundits were adamant Dortmund would score freely!

Some people just like to whinge.

We were absolutely excellent.

Some people seem to equate playing tippy tappy football as being the definition of good football. No. Putting in a defensive masterclass in the biggest cup competition in world football to see yourselves through to the quarter final is equally as fucking good.

Juve put in a performance like this and their lauded.
Whaaaat?

HUGO PULLED 3 FANTASTIC SAVES. If one or two went in who knows.

15-1 in shots. Cmon people. We were better the last 10 minutes tbf. But saying we were excellent is just wrong

Did any by theway see those Dortmund executive goons in the box when the camera got them? Looked seriously pissed off.

We didn't open up. We kept the ball which likely makes them more nervous with each passing minute. The more we have the ball, the less they have chances to score. Sounds obvious to me.
Seriously? How many goals have we gifted pressing teams in Poch's tenure? I direct you to any and all the Anfield games as well as games at the Etihad and Emirates. We are not a team that can play possession for possessions sake. Literally what is going on now is working so if it ain't broke...
