football as a whole has changed massively since the advent of the champions league. more than ever, its about revenue. its no coincidence that quite routinely, in the premiership era, the ones that have won the most have been the ones with the biggest pile of bunce. who knows, if Sir Alan cunty hadnt settled for mediocrity, that might have been us.
but because of that, weve been playing catch up ever since.
in the 00s its been made worse by two yo yo clubs financially doping.

Its a funny thing, but most people seem to forget that the gooners, man utd, liverpool are run along the same financial model as us. they spend the money the club has (Klopps net spend in may 2018 was 720K), and dont get into debt over player purchases. (well, the dippers did when Hicks and gilette were in charge. and nearly went into administration over it). they've just had more money than us.

How much has the training ground, stadium build, transport upgrades and hotel/ regeneration of the area planned for the future cost or is due to cost?

Adding players would definitely make us better, who would you get for realistic money that would definitely get us over the line that won't completely smash our wage structure or put us in an element of finan risk should we fail to make the top 4?

Not being sarcastic, I genuinely am intrigued as I struggle to think of many that realistically are within our grasp financially and based on our status in the game. 2-3 maybe but there's still no guarantee

What the fuck is the point you’re trying to make? That because we haven’t won in ages we should just expect us to not win ever again? This team over the past few years without a doubt had/has the quality to win at least 1 trophy. To say otherwise is just laughable
 
Well that sucked. The GKN point blank flub (x2) and Trippier pen miss were brutal. Both goals given up to silly errors from Sanchez and KWP.

Need to get healthy and everyone game fit. Wednesday is key to keep momentum in the league going. Some good news on the stadium would be a nice change as well.
