He wasn’t that bad. Should have been more commanding in the air for the first. But errors all around. Dier could have just put it out of play for another corner, but basically set that Dutch dude up. Second goal was on Tripps for not tracking the run. Vorm could do little with that. That bounce would have been difficult for a lot of keepers to corral.
But we don't play him, we don't even put him on the bench. For me it's baffling as his height is an asset we haven't got in other areas of the squad. It just seems really unnecessary unless he's not pulling his weight in training. I love our philosophy but if you're not going to use his height what's the point?
Poch is a fully fledged part of our transfer policy.

Hairy’s Post Match Thoughts
1. Passing accuracy was an embarrassment. Gave it up like a cheap whore all match.
2. Three of our 4 midfielders, Winks, Dembele, Dire, have as much chance to score as I do. A very defensive 11 today
3. Lucas was about the only bright spot. Toby did well also
4. Kane was non existent..........again. Starting to worry me a lot
5. Vorm is shit, I’ve believed this for some time. Very nervy out there.
6. Liverpool are a good squad, not much from Salah and they still had us by the short hairs most of the match. They’ll be in it with City when it’s all said and done
7. That was a stone cold penalty on Son in stoppage time. We got hosed.

He didn't really make any saves he shouldn't be expected to make.
He stood with his feet in treacle for the 2 goals at Watford, Punched the ball like a little cissy for liverpools first, and tottered around his line like a drunkard for the second. Not good enough.

Something else that annoyed me today was eriksen taking the first half free kick. He should be nowhere near it, his free kick record recently for spurs is abysmal, trippier should have told him to do one with the captain telling trippier to take it......good example of some of our players needing a reality check.....
I was very surprised to see Tripps walk away and let Eriksen takes the free kick. It's like there is a hierarchy and ranks in the team. Ffs let the player on form do the job.

Nail on head - it's the total lack of effort that was shown which is the real punch in the face.
I've seen the highlights but they only show you what the camera sees - looking up and down the pitch it really was like no one gave a toss - no one was breaking their back to win balls or even be the first to the ball. It kind of summed it up when Rose was taking throw ins and no one was offering him anything - they were all just standing there static!
With 20 minutes to go the players had all but given up - 20 minutes!!!! That's an age in football. No way they can hold their heads up and honestly say that they gave it their all.

Another one against Watford where he decided to pass to Lucas (unsuccessfully) aswell. Though it wasn't a clear chance, in previous years he probably would have took it alone and shot.
