Wow what an absolute slap in the face to a guy thats led us to our highest league finish in over 50 years, turned us into a team that was finishing 6th with just under 70 points into a team that is able finish 2nd with 86 points. He's consistently got us as finishing in the top 3 (Redknapp didn't) when most pundits and professionals had us down as the 5th or 6th best team in the country.

He took over a squad with the likes of Naughton, Townsend, Friedel & Holtby in it and gave us players like Alli, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Trippier, Davies, Dier & Son instead (7 starters that cost less than £100m and are collectively worth closer to £350m now. How many Conte signings at Chelsea have increased with any kind of value, let alone with that kind of margin?), not to mention the impact he had on Kane's career (he hadn't even been part of a dozen games for us when Mauricio took over back in 2014)

Without him we'd have probably lost Lloris, Vertonghen & Eriksen as well seeing as all 3 were unhappy with how things had gone under Villas-Boas & Sherwood!

The best thing about him is he's still so young, stilll growing his knowledge and still building his understanding of the game as a manager tactically, emotionally and mentally. I'mAbsolutely astonished that you think Pochettino is underperforming, he's one of the best things to ever happen to us and he hasn't even got started with his career as a manager yet. We're definitely in a better place than we were before him so back the man, appreciate what he's done to give us a team that is now respected and recognised as one on the up after decades of underperforming and stop being so negative and shortsighted about everything going on around our football club at the moment, it gives the rest of us a bad name!

He and Levy are building us a brand new football club, whilst being able to stay in touch with our N17 roots. One that's globally recognised as one of the best around after falling lightyears behind the rest. Everyone's in such a rush for glory, you have to give them time.

Rush for glory? LFC just reached a CL Final, finished above us and have added some proper footballers to that squad. United are dull but still managed to finish second and reach a cup final after Jose schooled Pochettino in the semi-final, City raped us twice because of Pochettino’s lack of pragmatism and ridiculously high line.

The window for glory was between 2015-17, when Pochettino had the best squad in the league and still won fuck all. The landscape has changed, key members of that team are leaving or on the decline (Walker, Rose, Dembele, Toby) and the trajectory is a negative one for the first time in about 5 years.

This club, with this squad, should be successful; the fact it’s not is down to one man.

It genuinely seems that most ‘fans’ on here would rather fail with Pochettino than win with someone like Conte, Simeone or Mourinho. That’s a strange fetish.

Oh, Arc. Murdered again.

The fact you called the players I mentioned "random youth" showcases exactly what you are as a Spurs fan. You don't even know who our youth stars are.

No wonder you idolise Real Madrid.
So still no direct quotes to 'just sign anyone'?

Pathetic liar

I see SchmoodSpur SchmoodSpur is still killing them with facts and quotes...
The evidence speaks for itself.....we haven’t been signing loads of marquee players. They were all told we wouldn’t, but they read between the lines you see.

Be brave never equates to spend massive amounts.
Do it differently never meant buy Bale.

Those who understand the club, understood what Pochettino was saying.

Those on the outside looking in, wishing we were more like Liverpool, well they got it all wrong, and as predicted are beating the club for something they were told clearly would never happen.
It’s funny when you see them try to defend Toby and at the same time defend Poch while ignoring the evidence that the two have clearly fallen out and in Toby’s words he’s been treated like crap.
Pick a side, you either back the manager or the player on this one.....but they want to back both and act like it’s all Levy’s fault.

Poch is on Levy’s side not yours. Oh well,

Oh and by the way, my phone still works and I still have internet access. Shocking in this day and age isn’t it....

Enjoy your window mugs!! LOL
I'm on holiday for 4 weeks

You are a fucking idiot and liverpool came below us last season and have done every year klopp has been in charge, so what what they reached the final after getting the luckiest run in ever, they still LOST.

It's not about failure it's about being patient for success to come. We aren't as big as Liverpool or Manchester United. City are owned by the richest person going for heavens sake. Stop comparing them as football clubs to us. Liverpool continuously spend more than we do and where's it got them? 8 of the last 9 seasons finishing below us. West Ham have done their money this year and there's not a single one of them would add proper value to our team. Why spend money if there isn't someone good enough to fill areas that need improvement?

We are in the process of forking out nearly £1bn for our future. The new stadium turns us into a completely different animal now but our window of opportunity was 2015-2017! Have a word mate. It would have been lovely to have won a trophy but Pochettino didn't underperform those years he overperformed! It sounds to me like he's the victim of his own success when it comes to how you view him.

We all want success, Tottenham have to do it a different way however. I wouldn't change it for the megabucks of City though or the Oil money of the Blue Russians. The way Tottenham are doing it of profit making, investment, growth, thorough scouting and a focus on mixing youth with experience has shown any football club that's interested in noticing that you can build something special without being owned by a person treating the club as it's little toy, or if you're competing with bigger clubs with bigger finances and a further global reach. I'm hugely proud of how far we've come, I wish you were too.

Here's to playing in the 2nd largest stadium in the whole of England next year with two of the worlds most expensive players in our ranks, a creative midfielder any team would want in their squad and one of the worlds most exciting young defenders As part of our set up forming our spine for the next ten years (not to mention a World Cup winning captain with a good 4 years left in him coming back into the fray) moving forward, its only going to get bigger and better long term from here, just try to enjoy it mate, we are all Spurs after all

Meant United, added it into the wrong part of the text. Schoolgirl error.

Do you lot honestly not think Pochettino should have won something yet?

Do you think Kane and Eriksen are going to spend their peak years here without success because of a nice stadium?

I would rather fail with Poch than see that cunt Mourinho anywhere near this beautiful club.
