This thread is a great advert to why the best kids are often the ones that end up on the scrap heap by 21.
He should probably head over to Spain and play there but probably can’t be bothered to learn the language or leave his mates behind.

So much talent goes to waste.

Hope he gets himself sorted and doesn’t follow the John Bostock path to Turkey or wherever he plays now.
 
Last few years have shown us that it's much easier to go from academy to first team and remain a prem player if you have sensible hair.

Walker-Peters, Mason, Townsend, Kane, Carroll. Sensible

It's not completely untrue, although it sounds ridiculous to put it solely down to hair. Generally people with shit or boring hair are grounded and thus willing to work hard and not get carried away with themselves before they've made 20 PL apps, rather than being a flashy cunt

Is Onomah like that as a person? Not really seen much of him

This is just rumours but word is Onomah came back from winning the Under 20 world cup last summer acting like a big shot. Thinking he was supposed to start games and such. That did not fly with Poch and off to Villa he went.

We do seem to have some history in this department!
We specialise in nurturing some highly skilled, yet lightweight youngsters... whom we hope/assume will bulk up in time for pre-season training... and yet they never do!

We've been doing it since the days of Paul Moran & Mark Robson... 30 years on, and we still don't seem to have learned!

Hardly a personal attack is it ? The young man can't get to training on time for a ridiculously well paid job and apparently has an attitude problem , should people respect that ?
I'd have the same opinion of anyone of any age , if you take the job you turn up on time show willingness and respect to your superiors and apply yourself.
 
I still think that with some hard work in the gym, he can make himself strong enough for professional football. Until that happens, and I think he's too thick or too lazy to do that at the moment, he will struggle and drop
down the leagues.

Sherwood was leaking stories/lies to him from the moment that AVB sat behind his desk, since Gillet Boy got sacked Hytner has stepped up his long-standing dislike of us.

Compare and contrast with fellow Graun hack and Plumstead Marsh dweller Amy Lawrence who is ten times the writer and person that David Hytner is.

You hear a few instances of young british players having terrible attitudes. Unsure if this is a local thing or whether other countries have the same issues
