I fucking hate the time delay with VAR
The problem is the use of the term clear and obvious errorCol_McCafferty
The decision was given by the linesman was given , I accept that, fair dos, but when they brought VAR into it , he was clearly onside, proving that VAR is shite
Possibly less not spotting and more him not trusting his right foot.I love Lamela, but his vision needs a +2. Keeps missing some lovely runs.
Son's finish, though, beauty!
:lamelashock:
But the replay proved he was. Wasn’t VAR brought in to get rid of contention ?
Would be bearable if they were 100% right, which there is no excuse not to be
The replay showed to you he was CLEARLY onside?? To me it showed he might have been onside but still not conclusive. But the replay proved he was. Wasn’t VAR brought in to get rid of contention ?
In about 20 years, they'll get a retina screen. If only the VAR was using a decent PC system instead of a Commodore 64 to analyze the situation.
People say despite the time it takes at least "you get the correct decision" but this shows that just ain't true. What I hate most about VAR is that if that was ruled onside, and then its ruled a goal, I don't get the sheer bliss of watching it unfold real time. Thats what every fan lives for in my opinion, to take that away from the game is detrimental to the sport.
I would have to listen back in real time but I thought the whistle went BEFORE Son took the shot, if that's the case it would be be a very weird goal to award.
