Most managers gets harshly criticised, mostly be whiny fucks. So does Poch.

Like people criticising him for only drawing away against a very solid Swansea after 11-2 shots on goal. It's not really Poch's fault that Harry does shit you don't even see at amateur levels while defending a corner, is it?
nah i think he gets moaned about way less than the norm.

u could say that his not his fault for the OG.
but it gets silly as i could then say does he get credit for the 2 free kick goals.
he coached eriksen in how to take free kicks did he.

not sure i believe that.
unless levy seriously thinks we should get 4th with this squad?
i dont think even he expects poch to get us 4th with 1 striker & the other squad weaknesses.

unless u mean we want it in the same way that i want to win the lotto but dont buy a ticket.
What do you think Poch should expect with this squad mate? I suspect 5-7th would be acceptable. I actually think we will be 3-6th. This is one crazy start to a season. If someone had said "would you be happy to finish a point behind the chavs?" Before a ball was kicked, most people would have reluctantly said yes- because we all expected them cunts to power on again this year into the top 1-3? But we have pulled another point away from them today. There's a long way to go but we are very much in the game I think. If we are out of all competitions by the end of next season I think Poch has had his chance & we can start on him. But we are heading the right way. How many teams will go to Swansea & win? Let's see eh before we judge

Not sure if serious... But agreed.
deadly serious. swansea are a good side.
already beaten utd there this season.
happy enough with a draw.
frustrating as we could have won but then again lloris saved us at the end from defeat.

we are on track for 5-7th.

i guess if we want top 4 then we need to turn these sort of draws in to wins.

but i dont think top 4 is realistic.
which is why i had a meltdown over pochs team selection against Woolwich.
still would rather have beaten them than city.
but i guess i should let it go.
move foward!

2 weeks off for some injured players to return.

then its liverpool home, & then anderlecht & bournemouth away.

yeh i think 5th-7th is an acceptable finish for poch.
unfair to expect him to get top 4.

id say city, Woolwich & utd will finish above us fairly comfortably.

like u said, crazy start to the season especially with chelsea. so they may be the team we could overtake in the top 4. but i think it more depends on them. if they start to turn things around.

i guess all we can do is make sure we are solid in the league so if one of the usual top 4 flops, we are there to take 4th spot.

if the top 4 play to about 80% of there best. then we wont get top 4. we need 1 to dip below that.

we also have to watch out for other teams from outside the top 4.
liverpool always a threat especially if they get a good manager in.
everton & saints look good this season too.

i think palace will fall away a bit.

We will finish 1 - 20th.

Eriksen coming back to form though? We have missed that mutha strutting his stuff? Nobody liked Poch's selection against that bunch. But it's done. We came off the back of that abortion with a sound thrashing of the northern chavs. I think we see how he goes. I'm no fan boy of any manager. I'm a fan boy of the club. I get fed up when we play badly. I get more fed up if fellow supporters start going on about how we need to doubt the manager (again), get rid of the doubtful/useless cunt & bring in some world renowned dinosaur to sort it out short term. Get Advocaat in eh? Who (available) out there will do a better job? It confuses the fuck from me. Let's get The most successful manager ever & expect to win the league in a year. With Levy controlling the purse? Lol.

Just watched it.
Thought we were really unlucky not to win in the end.
Walker needed more protection vs montero in first half but I actually thought he won more 1v1s than he lost. I think there was just one time in the second half he lost his cool and tried to fly in and got done.
Townsend is frustrating as ever. Whenever he's on the ball it's 60-40 he'll do something shit but not enough to write him off.

Ashleigh williams was immense. Without him we would have scored several more.

Disappointed with the draw but only because I feel we did enough to win.

Was a very entertaining game though which is what everyone's been clambering for.

Alli off please...his naivety is costing us up front, silly fouls that let them off the hook all the time.
Dembele on to give us some composure in the middle.

Our attacking is diabolical today. Static and predictable....who'd have known with Chadli and Eriksen together....oh....everyone but Poch..
Bizarre call that one mate (saw you retracted it) it's not player X with Chadli, it's Chadli with anyone. Dembele was ineffectual as usual. Dembele, Chadli are not the way forward - both too lethargic for this team. Eriksen gets us points, The other two don't.

A draw is good. Lloris with a worldie to deny them at the end. We attacked well l thought.

Definitely a solid away point in a game where we outplayed the opponent for the majority of play. Take that result in a heartbeat with a good shift by most.

AT's introduction definitely added a missing dynamic to that attack. If only he could do something with that final ball. Frustrating. Merge Lamela & AT and you have a very capable attacking winger who will bang out goals for fun.

Not even getting into the CL conversation. One game at a time and let's see where the club sits via that table in January before addressing that specific matter.

Bring on pool. They want none of this with.spurs current form.

I've said
I've disagreed with you occasionally and said some shit myself. I guess your views on Spurs are as reliable as mine. Give our man some time - that's all us "Poch cock suckers" want. Who would you want to replace him with?

Sometimes this place sounds like the dirty back passage of a Swedish porn star.

I retracted the Alli part as he played better second half...thought he was poor in the first half though.

And Chadli and Eriksen doesnt work in the same midfield.

Not sure why people have assumed I meant take Eriksen off........Ive been calling Chadli a crap player for over a year, when others where talking about dolphins.
:pochfacepalm:

Good for a goal or two when that was our problem, but it isn't really anymore as we seem to have a few players capable of pulling goals out of their asses. I tend to think positively about Chadli, but I agree -- he needs to start showing more.

Eriksen, Son and hopefully N'jie and maybe Pritchard are our only reliable AM at the moment. Lamela is too predictable and unreliable and Chadli and Townsend are deadwoods waiting to be shifted in the next or a window after.

Alli and Dier only reliable DM. Mason and Bentaleb are very inconsistent and look very poor at times, Dembele is the most frustrating player and Carroll is bottom 10 level player at best.

This is the bitter reality or our current midfield at the moment.

That is your bitter reality. Kane doesn't spaz out for 30 seconds and we win. Individual errors cost us the win, our structures were fine. You shift out Chadli and Townsend out and automatically you need to find two players that are happy being backup and being squad players. Chadli is only starting because Son is out. Not because he is seen as part of our best team. Agree with you about Dembele, but he does have his place in big games and when we're holding onto a lead. Pritchard and Carroll we'll have to wait and see.
