Roberto Soldado’s confidence is at rock bottom after his exit from Tottenham – and it doesn’t look like things are getting any better at Villarreal just yet.

The Spaniard has been unveiled as a Villarreal player after completing a £10million return to La Liga, and said that he ‘wants to go back to being the player he used to be.’

But he hasn’t made a great start to achieving that aim, after he failed to kick a ball into a crowd of fans – twice.

During his unveiling ceremony, Soldado attempted to give a fan a ball as a gift, but showed that he still can’t hit the target by missing the crowd on two occasions.

The ball can be seen being returned to the 30-year-old after his first unsuccessful effort, while the second shot actually lands in the stand above.

Things can only get better from here, right Bobby?

That's awful to watch

Yup brilliant...we gambled on some big money players....levy never will again.
We did because we were selling Bale for big money. Levy never will again, until we sell, big again.
When were we ever big spenders? Broke the British transfer record once in for incoming in 70. The only other times were when we sold Waddle, Gascoigne & Bale.
We paid about 750k for Ardiles and Villa.
Let's not make out we were ever spending big on players before Levy.
We paid a lot for Lineker and Waddle, but had to borrow. Had to sell Waddle to stave off financial troubles.
Oh, yes we certainly will never spend what we haven't got again. We certainly won't be making £25m + signings until we have sold enough to do so.
So really Levy has got the bollocks to spend big, when the club has the money to do so. That's unless you'd actually prefer us to spend money we ain't got and pay those same big signings the big wages we cannot afford gambling on maybe making us top 4 but jeopardise all in the pipeline? We went down that road mate, borrowing to make signings and nearly ceasing to be.
Only thing is unlike Man City under Shinawatra, when it goes tits up and we are in financial meltdown we won't have a nice shiny free new stadium (with adjoining land to build upon) will not be bought out by arabs who wipe out the debt.
We have been on a par ( if not spinning more) with those cunts down the road on net spending since 92, bar the previous two years.

Mensa Mensa

Shocking, init?

Soldado scored on his debut?

Soldado scoring, Capoue helping make Watford look meaner than a Mourinho side and three appearances for Stambouli at PSG in which time they haven't conceded.

At least Chiriches played in a 2-1 defeat for Napoli.

You forgot to mention Keano and GDS ripping apart Lampard and David Villa's New York City.
