I had supposed that it probably derived from his exploits in that nightclub. ( in Walthamstow ? ) that some of the unattached players would attend after games .
The place where they got to relax and unwind in the company of local young. starlets . ( Some now possibly members of this forum ? ) .
As it turns out it was his initials
all along !
