remember him v the Goons when they scraped a lucky 2-0. Think he shot against the inside of the post and of course it bounced out. Fine margins and all, but he had a few chances for the first team and he was behind Falco also from the youth who scored very well with us (almost one in 2) and all the clubs he played for after.
We got a pen late on at 0-1 and Robbo decided that breaking the bar would be preferable to an equaliser!!
I think Roberts' intention was that the broken bar would hit Lukic on the head.
Thanks to all contributors to this stream. Especially this film. I did go that day so was looking out for my young self but only managed to see my cousin who was the same age (9). I think. Great memories
Knew Dave Leworthy when we were both at Kingstonian, probably the best non league player I ever saw.
